Musical Innovations | Of The Light | Music with a Purpose Over Without One
The song itself offers a novel viewpoint on the strength metal music possesses and demonstrates why music with a purpose is always preferable to music without one. The release has everyone talking, and listeners are swarming in droves to connect with the message that having excellent mental health is a result of enjoying life to the fullest and accomplishing one's goals.
Perhaps for this reason, OF THE LIGHT frequently refers to its followers as "the light workers," hoping to encourage individuals to free themselves from harmful influences, such as unfavorable attitudes and routines. The song encourages reflection, enabling listeners to see destructive behavioral patterns that keep them in a cycle of regret, hatred, and despair.

ABOUT Greg Telfeian
Greg Telfeian, a 39-year-old male drummer who grew up in Bergen County, New Jersey, is now a multi-instrumentalist singer and composer. Since the age of 14, he has been playing the drums, writing music, and performing unique works.
Greg's most notable career achievement was with the metal band With Daggers Drawn, where he gained devoted fans, played in the metal and rock scene, and opened up for top NJ and NYC metal/rock acts like Illnino, 40 Below Summer, E-Town Concrete, Coheed & Cambria, and other national acts like Drowning Pool, Periphery, Hatebreed, In this Moment, and Non-Point, as well as other national acts like Drowning Pool (just to name a few).
Due to personal reasons, Daggers, which included the founding members of 40 Below Summer, broke up in 2011. Greg later worked on songs with the alt-prog rock group Pralaya, who released the Matter of Time EP. They participated in the scene through 2020 before dissipating in 2021 due to a loss of enthusiasm, Covid, and just everyday living.
Greg has had songs played on SiriusXM's Liquid Metal Channel 40, and has been contacted by RoadRunner Records, the most esteemed label in metal. Despite never having a signed contract, Greg keeps winning and knows that this is a business.
His main objective is to connect with individuals outside of his own social circle, and to develop, market, and release his music using the most modern marketing techniques that will get it in front of the correct audiences.
